“iZombie” is going to introduce recurring character Harley Jones in the upcoming Season 3 of the CW series.

According to Deadline, Harley is a gun-loving, anti-government extremist. Although he appears to be a friendly guy when he’s chatting with Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) at a shooting range, he is very vocal about his dislike of zombies. In fact, he has practiced shooting at zombie targets and is itching to kill some of the undead.

Harley will be played by Andrew Caldwell who appeared as Thor on “Hannah Montana,” Billy “Gravy” Graves on “Good Luck Charlie” and Mitch Bilsky on “Henry Danger.” The 27-year-old actor recently confirmed his “iZombie” casting on Twitter and Instagram. See his posts below:

While there’s a possibility that Caldwell’s character will eventually develop into a full-blown villain, the main baddie for the upcoming installment remains to be Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage), the undead CEO of Fillmore-Graves Enterprises and Max Rager who plans to make Seattle the capital of the zombie homeland.

“I don’t know what to make of her,” McIver told TVLine of Vivian last May. “I’m cagey. I mean she’s a dodgy character. But at the same time [my character] Liv doesn’t have any female zombie friends. You can’t be too picky.”

The 28-year-old actress added at the time that her character still doesn’t know whether she will be supporting Vivian’s plan for Seattle. “I don't know if she knows where her allegiance lies,” McIver said of Liv. “[She’s still] quite [like] ‘Who this woman is and what she stands for?’”

Aside from Caldwell, Jason Dohring will also recur in the new installment. According to Entertainment Weekly, Dohring will be playing the role of Vivian’s brother-in-law, Chase. Since Chase is a member of the Fillmore Graves hierarchy, it’s likely that he’s also one of the undead.

“iZombie” Season 3 is slated to debut midseason on The CW.
