Late Jackass star Ryan Dunn will be honored in a one-hour special on MTV, which will air on Nov. 28.

The special will review Dunn's early life in Ohio, his successful career in “Jackass” until his unexpected death in the car crash in June.

Moreover, the special includes feature interviews with Dunn's friends such as Johnny Knoxville, Rob Dyrdek, Wee Man, Chris Pontius, Jeff Tremaine, Bam Margera etc.

“It’s a surreal thing to undertake, doing a tribute to our brother Ryan's life. I still can’t believe he’s gone but we wouldn’t trust anyone else with this, so we are doing the best we can for Ryan, his family, friends, and everyone who loved him,” Johnny Knoxville said in a statement.

“Weaving together footage of Ryan for this special reminds us all of what a special friend he was to so many,” President of Viacom’s Music Group Van Toffler said. “He is sorely missed by his MTV family and fans, but his mischievous, caring spirit lives on.”

Dunn died on June 20 in a car crash. According to reports, Dunn was driving his Porsche 911 GT3 with his friend Zachary Daniel Hartwell after partying and drinking heavily at a bar. Around 2:38 a.m., the car, which happened to be (over)speeding at around 140 mph, veered off the road, flipped in the air, crashed into trees, and burst into flames. Both Dunn and Hartwell died on the spot.

The news of Dunn's death came as a big blow to many, including the nationwide Jackass fans, who hoped that this is another prank and that Dunn will make a comeback in a clever way.

According to the crash investigators, Dunn's blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit.
