As Lindsay Lohan preps for another court appearance Wednesday morning, she is probably coming to the realization that jail time is possibly unavoidable.

TMZ is reporting that the 24-year-old actress is seriously considering taking a plea deal.

TMZ reported that judge Keith Schwartz offered Lohan and her attorney, Shawn Holley, a deal that would send Lohan behind bars for three months. It is likely that sentence would be reduced because of jail overcrowding.

Ever since Lohan's ordeal began with the accusation of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice Beach jewelry store, the actress has been adamant that she did not do anything wrong. She initially said she would not take the plea deal because she was innocent.

While still maintaining her innocence, reality may have struck Lohan as she is starting to realize the risks of going forward with a trial.

If Lohan were to lose at trial she would get more than a year of jail time for the probation violation, according to TMZ. She would receive additional jail time for the felony grand theft.

Lohan will have to tell the court by Wednesday if she accepts the plea deal. On Friday she will appear in court to accept the plea deal or continue on with a trial.
