James Franco denied ever having been Lindsay Lohan’s lover, saying that the actress had lied about her list of alleged former lovers, in a recent interview with Los Angeles magazine.

Earlier this month, Lohan made headlines after she revealed a list of 36 celebrities in InTouch magazine, claiming that they all had been with her, including Franco.

The 35-year-old actor, who was interviewed about his new collection of poems, "Directing Herbert White," was reportedly asked by the interviewer: “You wrote about several celebrities in this book, including a couple of poems about Lindsay Lohan. Have you gotten any response from any of these people?”

The actor then answered: "No, I didn't write anything bad about them. And Lindsay herself has told lies about me with her people-she's-slept-with list! So I feel like what I said is much less than what she's said."

A source had reportedly said that it was Lohan’s “personal conquest list,” adding, “She was trying to impress her friends with the list and then tossed it aside.”

Some of the celebrities who made Lohan's list are Justin Timberlake, Joaquin Phoenix, actor Lukas Haas, novelist Paul Charles, "American Horror Story" star Evan Peters, "Scream 4" star Nico Tortorella, "That '70s Show" star Wilmer Valderrama, "Fifty Shades of Grey" actor Jamie Dornan, "High School Musical" star Zac Efron, baseball player Jamie Burke, Heath Ledger, Colin Farrell, Ryan Rottman, Max George, musician Guy Berryman, Franco, singer Adam Levine and Garrett Hedlund. Other names in the list were blurred by the magazine due to legal reasons.

According to reports, a representative for Hedlund released a comment immediately after Lohan’s list was revealed, stating that his involvement with the actress “was completely not true.”
