Kanye West, who is marrying Kim Kardashian, asked James Franco and Seth Rogen to perform at the wedding after being impressed by their spoof of the rapper’s “Bound 2” music video in November, Franco revealed during his appearance on "The View" with his "Of Mice & Men" co-stars Tuesday.

Franco spoke on the show about receiving feedback of the spoof video. He said that Kardashian “loved the video” but he did not hear anything from West that led him to believe that the rapper may have hated the spoof.

"But then two weeks ago, we got a call from Kanye. Seth and I were on the phone. We thought he was just going to let us have it. But he loved it. And I'm pretty sure I can say it now because I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen. He wanted us to perform it live the night before his wedding at Versailles," Franco, who recently made headlines for allegedly flirting with a teenage girl on social media, reportedly said, adding: “I think it would have been awesome for about 10 seconds, but then there would be Seth with his shirt off in front of all the Kardashians."

While talking about the spoof video, Franco also revealed that the wedding location was the Palace of Versailles in France, but palace officials had previously denied that the couple would be getting married there.

Kardashian was spotted visiting the Chateau Louis XIV, a reconstruction of a classic seventeenth century palace, earlier this month, giving rise to speculation that the 54,000 square-foot palace located in Louveciennes, in the Yvelines department about 32 miles west of the French capital, with both state-of-the-art security and a medieval-style moat, could be the wedding location.

The wedding is rumored to take place next month but no specific date has been mentioned.
