As rumors made the rounds that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes got married in early 2016 at the former’s mansion in Hidden Valley, California, in a “super-secret ceremony,” a new report raised doubts over the “Django Unchained” star’s relationship status. According to a new report, Holmes recently made a public appearance in honor of college basketball’s March madness tournament with her daughter Suri, but Foxx was not with them.
Tom Cruise’s ex-wife took Suri to watch a game between Stephen F. Austin and Notre Dame at the Barclays Center in New York. The two appeared to be enjoying their time together as they watched the match, AOL news reported.
According to Inquistr, Holmes had earlier shared that she uses the city as a means to deal with the problems she faces in life.
“I’m a normal person and I do walk around,” Holmes reportedly said earlier. “If you’re having a bad day, you just take a walk, and it’s not only that you see people who are having a worse day than you, it’s just that you’re in life. You suddenly can’t be stuck in whatever problem you’re in because you have to hail a cab or you have to get a subway ticket. There’s more than just you, and I think the harsh winters give you a little bit of character.”
However, Foxx’s absence raised several speculations regarding his rumored relationship with Holmes as several reports of the duo’s engagement and marriage circulated.
Star magazine reported Wednesday that Holmes and Foxx are already married and that the “Days and Nights” actress is three months pregnant with Foxx's child.
However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying that rumors about Holmes’ pregnancy were false.
On Friday, Foxx's representative released a statement to People magazine saying that the 48-year-old actor was not engaged or married to Holmes.
Rumors about Foxx and Holmes surfaced after both were seen flashing similar gold bands on their ring finger. Some reports also claimed that Foxx did not want to make his relationship public with Holmes over concerns that the latter’ ex-husband might go “crazy” after knowing about their romance.
