Cutter Dykstra and Jamie-Lynn Sigler announce their engagement over Twitter. Instagram

“Sopranos” actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler has apparently found love with a younger man. The 31-year-old actress took to Twitter yesterday to announce her impending engagement to Washington Nationals infielder Cutter Dykstra, 23.

On Monday, Sigler uploaded a photo of her and her smiling soon-to-be-hubby on Instagram, as she displayed a playful expression of shock and showed off a huge diamond engagement ring. “So this just happened....❤❤,” Sigler wrote in the photo’s caption.

Soon after Cutter tweeted to followers, “She said yes!!”

Sigler and Dykstra have reportedly been dating for about a year, and a rep for Sigler told US Magazine that the actress is “over the moon” about the engagement.

Sigler was previously married to her manager, A.J. DiScala, between 2003 and 2005, and has also dated fellow actor Jerry Ferrara, who played her onscreen boyfriend on the hit HBO comedy “Entourage,” and most recently, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez and Sigler split in 2010, reportedly because the actress felt Sanchez was too young for her and wasn’t quite ready to settle down.

"It was a mutual decision, but Jamie-Lynn was ready to move on from Mark. He is 23 and determined to prove he's a hot commodity by playing the field, but she is 29 and is looking for a more mature and stable relationship,” a source for the New York Post said.

But just two years later, Sigler seems more than happy to be with a younger man again.

"Jamie couldn't be happier. Cutter is the perfect guy for her," a source for US Magazine said. "Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends."
