Janet Jackson was recently spotted leaving London with her son, Eissa, amid her divorce from her estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana.

While speaking with People, a source said that Jackson and her son took a flight back to New York after having stayed in London during her pregnancy. “Janet flew back to NYC with the baby and small entourage, including a bodyguard. She is very hands-on and carried the baby the whole way through the airport. Eissa is adorable and Janet looked great. Happy and in great shape. She’s in NYC for business meeting concerning her upcoming tour,” the source said.

Jackson gave birth to her child on Jan. 3. She announced her pregnancy in October last year. Less than a month after Eissa was born, an insider told People that the mother-son pair is doing well.

Meanwhile, five months after Eissa was born, Jackson and Al Mana were spotted leaving a London courthouse. Multiple sources confirmed that the two have decided to go their separate ways. Jackson also posted a cryptic video on her YouTube account, saying that she and Al Mana have indeed filed for divorce. The singer added that she’s leaving everything in God’s hands.

After their divorce filing, a source revealed that Jackson and Al Mana have decided to co-parent their 6-month-old son. “She and Wissam are working together to co-parent. They have a strong friendship. There is no fighting between them,” the source said.

It seems the source is spot on as after their split, Al Mana referred to his estranged wife as the “most beautiful person in the world.” Jackson and Al Mana quietly married each other in 2012.

According to E! News, Jackson and Al Mana decided to end their relationship after they disagreed on how to raise their son. “She has the support of her family and has a crazy good legal team behind her,” a source said.

In other news, Jackson will headline a series of shows as part of her State of the World tour. The first show will kick off on Sept. 7 at the Cajundome in Louisiana, and her tour will wrap up on Dec. 17 in Atlanta.
