RTTNews - An index measuring corporate service prices in Japan was down 3.2 percent on year, the Bank of Japan said on Monday, posting a score of 92.8. That was in line with analyst expectations for a 3.3 percent annual decline after the 3.0 percent fall in May.

On a monthly basis, corporate service prices were up 0.4 percent after the 0.3 percent decline in May.

Transportation, financial and communication prices led the decline, while advertising and information system prices saw mild gains.

For the second quarter of 2009, prices were down an annual 2.9 percent with an index score of 92.6.
