RTTNews - Japan is scheduled to release final June numbers for industrial production on Wednesday, headlining a modest day for Asian economic activity. Also on tap are July numbers for the domestic corporate good price index, and the Bank of Japan will release its monthly report.

Industrial production was originally called lower by 29.5 percent on year and higher by 5.7 percent on month in the preliminary report. Prices for domestic corporate goods are predicted to fall 8.7 percent on year and remain flat on month after falling 6.6 percent on year and 0.3 percent on month in June.

South Korea will announce seasonally adjusted unemployment data for July. Analysts are expecting the rate to hold steady at the current level of 4 percent.

Finally, the Stock Exchange of Thailand will be closed on Wednesday in observance of Her Majesty the Queen's birthday. The SET will re-open on Thursday.
