RTTNews - Japan is scheduled to release final March numbers for industrial production and capacity utilization, as well as April figures for machine tool orders, headlining Tuesday's Asian economic news.

The preliminary reading for industrial production showed a 1.6 percent increase on month and a 34.2 percent decline on year. Capacity utilization was down 11.9 percent from the previous month, and machine tool orders reflected an 80.4 percent plummet on year.

Hong Kong will announce the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for April, with analysts expecting the rate to jump to 5.4 percent from the current 5.2 percent.
