Japan's merchandise trade balance surplus widened to 804.2 billion yen during July, compared with a previous reading 687 billion yen in June, which was revised to 686.4 billion yen, while the actual reading came higher than analyst's expectations that referred to 466.3 billion yen.

Japan's adjusted merchandise trade balance surplus which release with 610.4 billion yen in July, compared with a prior of 456 billion yen, which was revised to 514.5 billion yen, while analyst's expectations estimated of 397.5 billion yen.

Furthermore, the Japan's merchandise trade exports (YoY) rose 23.5% in July, compared with a previous 27.7%, while the expectations estimate of 21.8%. Also the Japan's merchandise trade imports (YoY) retreated 15.7% in July, compared with a prior 26.1%, whereas the anticipations referred to 19.8%.
