The Japanese economy released earlier today the figures for the annual housing starts index, where it showed a huge decline of -10.8%, compared with the prior reading of 14.0%, also it came below expectations of 8.6%.

On the other hand, The Japanese annualized housing starts index for September showed a decrease of 0.754 million unites compared with the prior reading of 0.934 million unites, also it came below expectations of 0.906 million units.

Moreover, The Japanese construction orders figures were released earlier today, where it showed a massive decline of -9.3% compared with the prior reading of 9.3%.
