RTTNews - Wednesday, a final report from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed that Japan's industrial production growth in June came in at 2.3% on a monthly basis, revised down from 2.4% estimated initially. From the previous year, production plunged 23.5%.

Monthly rise in shipments was left unrevised at 3.5% for June. Meanwhile, inventory dropped 1.1% in June from the prior month compared to the initial estimate of 1% decline. Year-on-year, shipments and inventory slipped 22.6% and 10.3%, respectively.

The report showed that operating ratio climbed by a seasonally adjusted 2.3% in June, following May's 8% monthly increase.
