Japanese Merchandise Trade balance

The Japanese economy released today data on the merchandise trade balance during the month of March, where the actual reading came out at 196.5 billion yen compared to the previous reading of 653.3 billion yen forecasted to be 645.5 billion yen revised to be 653.3 billion yen. While the adjusted merchandise trade balance showed an actual reading of 96.3 billion yen compared to the previous reading of 556.0 billion yen, forecasted to be 325.5 billion yen revised to 477.4 billion yen.

As for the merchandise trade exports showed an actual reading of -2.2% compared to the previous reading of 9.0% forecasted to be -1.1%, while the merchandise trade imports showed an actual reading of 11.9% compared to the previous reading of 9.9% forecasted to be 5.9%.
