The Japanese economy is still suffering from the worst earthquake in the world that hit the nation on March 11, which caused an explosion at the nuclear plant in Fukushima. However, the World Bank announced today that Japan will take five years to rebuild after the devastating earthquake and tsunami that left behind massive destruction.

Moreover, the Bank noted that the damage to be between $123 billion and $235 billion, this is the equivalent of between 2.5% and 4% of the country's economic output in 2010. Further, economic growth will shrink during the first half of the year.
