Japanese Trade Balance

The Japanese economy released today data on the current account total, adjusted current account total, current account balance and the trade balance during the month of December. The actual reading of the current account total came at 1,195.0 billion yen, compared to the previous reading of 926.2 billion yen forecasted to be 1,130.0 billion yen. Where as the actual reading of the adjusted current account total came at 1,555.9 billion yen, compared to the previous reading of 1,145.1 billion yen forecasted to be 1,530.1 billion yen.

Furthermore the actual reading of the current account balance showed a rate of 30.5% , compared to the previous reading of -15.7%, where expectations were referring to a rater of 24.2%, and the actual reading of the trade balance came out at768.8 billion yen , compared to the previous reading of 259.7 billion yen, while the expected value was 779.7 billion yen.
