RTTNews - Japan's domestic auto sales declined 4.2% year-on-year in July, the Automobile Dealers' Association said on Monday.

In July, sales of passenger cars dropped 0.6%, of which cars of standard-size rose 0.5% and small-size car sales declined 1.4%.Trucks sales were down 32% and bus sales slumped 26.9%.

On the same day, the Japan Mini Vehicle Association said minivehicle production dropped 7.2% in July from the previous year to 141,035.
