Extending yesterday's downtrend, the Japanese currency edged down to a new multi-month low of 57.19 against the New Zealand dollar during early Asian trading on Friday. This may be compared to Thursday's North American session's closing value of 56.87. Currently, the kiwi-yen pair is trading near 57 with 59.5 seen as the next target level.
