Japan's current account surplus narrowed in October to record 1397.6 billion yen compared with 1567.9 billion yen in September, and it came less than analyst's estimates of 1483.2 billion yen. The adjusted current account surplus recorded 1376.2 billion yen following a surplus of 1338.0 billion yen, while forecasts referred to 1564.9 billion yen.

On the other hand, Japan's trade balance surplus widened to 949.0 billion yen in October compared with 599.2 billion yen in the previous month, and it topped the expectations that referred to 862.3 billion yen.
