Japan's current account surplus narrowed in November to record 1103.0 billion yen compared with a previous surplus of 1397.6 billion yen, while forecasts referred to 999.6 billion yen. The adjusted current account recorded a surplus of 1304.8 billion yen from 1376.2 billion yen, and it topped analyst's estimates of 1216.1 billion yen.

On the other hand, the Japanese trade balance surplus narrowed to 490.6 billion yen in November, after recording 949.0 billion yen in October, while it was anticipated to record 479.0 billion yen.
