Japan's Gross Domestic Product

The Japanese economy released today data on the GDP during the fourth quarter of 2010, where the GDP deflator showed an actual reading of-1.6% compared to the previous reading of -1.6% forecasted to be at the same value. The nominal GDP showed a contraction of 0.7% compared to the previous reading of -0.6% forecasted to be -0.7%.

As for the annualized GDP the actual reading showed a contraction of 1.3% compared to the previous reading of -1.1% forecasted to be -1.2%, while the GDP showed an actual reading of -0.3% compared to the previous reading of -0.3% forecasted to be -0.3%.
