RTTNews - Japan's nationwide department store sales fell for the sixteenth consecutive month in June, data released by the Japan Department Stores Association showed Tuesday.

Sales adjusted for the number of stores fell 8.8% year-on-year in June after falling 12.3% in May.

Similarly, sales at Tokyo's 28 major outlets operated by 13 companies dropped 11.4% annually in June compared with a 14% fall in the previous month.
