Say it isn't so! The lovable Jason Segel and everyone's favorite talking frog are ending their collaboration. Segel, who penned and starred in last year's hit The Muppets will be exiting puppet land for now. Disney is said to be moving forward with a Muppet sequel sans the funnyman. Guess he's a Man and not a Muppet (sobs). The How I Met Your Mother star, who cried when he first heard Kermit say his lines, says his hectic schedule is to blame.

It's true but it's totally amicable. My goal was to bring The Muppets back. And I did that leaving them in very good hands, my writing partner and James Bobin the director. I did what I set out to do, and now I wanna pursue more human-related projects.

Though the news isn't what Segel fans want to hear, thankfully the star's next film project isn't too far away. The Five Year Engagement, also starring Emily Blunt, will open the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York this April. The film tells the story of an engaged couple whose busy lives impede upon their impending wedding. Few doubt the film will deliver on quality and laughs.
