Many are speculating that the attack was the result of an argument between Solange and Jay-Z or her witnessing him disrespecting her sister Beyoncé. But after the pair was reportedly seen shopping in a NYC jewelry store, it looks as though any possible issues between the two have subsided. Reuters

Tempers may be cooling in the Knowles-Carter camp following a heated elevator altercation between Solange Knowles and her brother-in-law Jay Z.

The Internet has been buzzing since Monday morning, when TMZ released footage of the younger Knowles sister viciously attacking the rapper in an elevator. The fight occurred at a Met Gala after-party held at the Standard Hotel in NYC following the high-profile ball on May 5.

Many supposed the lengthy attack was the result of a rift between Solange and Jay Z, most likely due to questionable behavior by the rapper at the star-studded bash. But it now appears the two have quickly moved on from the brawl.

According to TMZ, Solange and Jay Z were seen shopping in an high-end jewelry store together on Tuesday, just one day after the footage was released. The site says a source revealed that they browsed for close to 20 minutes in Mr. Flawless. The source added that they were looking for women’s jewelry and appeared to be in good spirits. There was no visible tension between the pair, and they left without buying anything. However, the source did add that they didn’t speak much while inside the store.

The trip may have been a attempt to find a "We're Sorry" gift for Beyoncé, who was caught in the middle of the elevator scuffle between her hubby and sister. It could have could have also been a well-timed attempt to quiet the growing talk that the Knowles-Carter dynasty is in peril. But with the secrecy surrounding the three stars’ teams, we can most definitely be certain of one thing, a statement clarifying anything about the dramatic incident won’t be coming anytime soon!<iframe seamless="seamless" style="border: none; overflow: hidden;" height="450" width="100%" scrolling="no" src="http://assets-polarb-com.a.ssl.fastly.net/api/v4/publishers/IBTimes/embedded_polls/iframe?poll_id=178175"></iframe>
