Jennie Garth and husband Dave Abrams are working to keep their marriage, but for the time being they have decided to live separately. The Hollywood actress is said to be focusing on her mommy duties to her daughters for now.

On Tuesday, a rep for the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum confirmed to Us Weekly that the actress and her husband are taking some time apart. The rep maintains that the couple did not legally separate and they haven’t filed any legal paperwork at all.

“They are still trying to make it work, but they haven’t been living together,” a source familiar with the matter said. “They love each other, but like every marriage, it takes work. Jennie is taking the time to focus on her girls and herself.”

Garth has three daughters with ex-husband Peter Facinelli, namely: Luca, 20, Lola, 14, and Fiona, 11. The former Hollywood couple parted ways in 2012 after 11 years of being husband and wife. They finalized their divorce four years ago.

Garth, 45, and Abrams, 36, got engaged in April 2015, according to E! News. Three months later, they tied the knot at the “What I Like About You” star’s Los Olivos, California ranch home. So it’s only been less than three years since they got together as a married couple.

The news that the couple are spending time apart comes a week after Garth took to social media to hint at her marital problems. She apparently posted a photo that shows a gold accessory with the word “RESILIENCE” on it. She also shared a meaningful message about the word.

“Resilience means the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties. But it doesn’t mean we’ll never experience sadness. It proves we’re able to spring back into shape after struggle has pushed us further than we ever imagined we could go,” she wrote. “Resilience allows us to overcome and bounce back from heartache stronger and more flexible than before.”

Early last week, Garth also posted to Instagram another message about unconditional love. “Spend your time on those who love you unconditionally. Don’t waste it on those who only love you when the conditions are right for them.”
