Jennifer Aniston signed a deal to promote Emirates Airlines just before marrying her longtime beau, Justin Theroux. Dubai-based Emirates confirmed that it has signed the actress for a worldwide ad campaign.

As the new face of the airline, the 46-year-old Aniston will be working on a new campaign. According to reports, the former "Friends" star has taken Dh18.4 million ($5 million) for this endorsement deal. Emirates, however, has refused to divulge details of the deal.

“We can confirm that we are working with Ms. Jennifer Aniston on a global digital and television campaign,” Boutros Boutros, Emirates’ divisional SVP for corporate communications, marketing and brand, told Emirates 24/7 in an emailed statement. He added that more information about the campaign would be given in due course, People reported.

The airline’s hiring of the Hollywood star’s services comes close on the heels of its UAE-based rival Etihad signing Nicole Kidman in March. Kidman is both the star and narrator of a commercial that runs on global TV stations and social media in both 60- and 30-second formats, with still versions of the campaign appearing in print, digital and on outdoor channels.

Meanwhile, newlyweds Aniston and Theroux are currently honeymooning in the Bora Bora islands with friends. Their A-list buddies include Aniston’s BFF Courteney Cox, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, his wife Molly McNearney and daughter Jane. Jason Bateman also joined them on the trip at the Four Seasons in the Polynesian destination.
