Jennifer Garner Visits Cancer Patients Amid Ben Affleck Affair Rumors

Jennifer Garner took time off work and visited young cancer patients in Georgia last Sunday. The actress is reported to be focusing on her career despite rumors of soon-to-be ex-husband Ben Affleck's affair with a former nanny.

The 43-year-old actress' marital troubles are not stopping her from working. As reported by Us Weekly, Garner took a break from filming “Miracles From Heaven” and dropped by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with her co-star Kylie Rogers. The two celebrities visited the pediatric cancer ward on Sunday afternoon to greet fans and give a boost to young cancer patients.

One patient she visited was 9-year-old Henry Shepherd, diagnosed with bone cancer osteosarcoma, who is undergoing a penultimate chemotherapy treatment. His mother, Carrie, recalled their conversation with the actress and her films. “We were talking about the party at the end of the movie, and Henry said when he is cancer-free, he wants a party just like that. Henry told her that, and when she walked out she said, 'Henry, I hope you get your party.'” The “Alexander” actress and Rogers also posed for a picture with the Shepherds, who described Garner as “really sweet, down-to-earth, and very genuine.”

Meanwhile, recent reports claim that a third party, former nanny Christine Ouzounian, is involved in Garner and Affleck’s split. According to People, she had an affair with him while she looked after the couple’s children – Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. According to reports, Ouzounian and Affleck saw each other after she was kicked out from nanny service. Affleck’s representative denied such claims.

The former nanny, who also cared for Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s twins, was with the family during a Bahamas vacation just a month ago.

Ouzounian was previously engaged to a man for about a year and a half, stated Entertainment Tonight, but called the engagement off, around the same time she left the Garner-Affleck residence. The celebrity couple also announced their divorce during that same period.

Garner and Affleck announced their divorce on June 30, a day after their tenth wedding anniversary.
