Are Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth the next A-list Hollywood couple? Most likely not, but the recently released photos of “The Hunger Games” co-stars cuddling up on the set of their latest film, “Mockingjay,” make it look possible.

Just two weeks after Hemsworth split from his love of three years, pop singer Miley Cyrus, photographers captured Lawrence looking especially cozy with the 23-year-old Aussie. According to a report from JustJared, the images were obtained while the actors were on set in Atlanta for the third installment of the four-film saga, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” on Tuesday.

The images mark the second time Lawrence, who portrays protagonist Katniss Everdeen, and her co-star were spotted on set in recent days. The twosome last made separate appearances on Sept. 21, Lawrence sporting casual clothes and Hemsworth wearing post-apocalyptic attire for his character, Gale Hathworne.

While the photos of the cozy co-stars may cause some speculation that a future Hollywood couple is in the making, recent reports state otherwise. Following months of rumors that Lawrence, 23, had rekindled her relationship with her “X-Men: Days of Future Past” co-star and former boyfriend, actor Nicholas Hoult, the actress confirmed the claims in the September issue of Vogue magazine. Despite only recently splitting from Cyrus, 20, Hemsworth also reportedly has a new leading lady in his life. The Australian native confirmed reports he was dating Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez in September after the duo was spotted embracing in a passionate kiss inside a Los Angeles parking garage.

The “Hunger Games” stars can be seen in the saga’s second installment, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” in theaters Nov. 22. The pair has already begun promoting the action film, starring on separate covers of Entertainment Weekly magazine. Fellow lead actor Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) also scored his own cover shoot, as did series newcomer, actor Sam Claflin portraying Finnick Odair, a fellow competitor in the dystopian "Games."
