Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky have been dating for a couple of months already. Despite the over two decades of age gap, one insider believes that the couple is a good match.

“Jen is a serious actress and being around another person in the business who is intense about what he does has been good for her,” an industry insider told People. “I don’t know how far it will go but as of now they are a really good match, two talented people who love their work and are respected for it.”

The age gap is not an issue for the “Passengers” star. In fact, the insider added that Lawrence is comfortable with older guys because she is matured and focused.

The “Hunger Games” star and her boyfriend were reportedly very sweet and happy together. “Their relationship seems very strong and genuine,” one source told E! News while noting that the couple “kissed and hugged” throughout their day.

The director and the Oscar winner are very happy with their relationship. He visited Lawrence in Budapest while filming “Red Sparrow.” Meanwhile, she seems comfortable with his family. However, the couple keeps a low profile because they don’t want a lot of attention.

Lawrence and Aronofsky began dating in September after he directed her in the upcoming film”Mother!” They were first spotted dining in New York in August. In October, the couple spent time in Los Angeles where they enjoyed an intimate dinner with Lawrence’s friends at the Commissary restaurant at the Line Hotel. In November, the duo worked together to encourage college students to vote.

The “Joy” star previously dated Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex-husband Chris Martin from August 2014-2015. However, before Lawrence’s romance with Martin, she dated her “X-Men: First Class” co-star Nicholas Hoult for four years from 2010 to 2014, Daily Mail noted.
