America’s sweetheart may be officially off the market. According to recent rumors, actress Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, fellow actor Nicholas Hoult.

OK! Magazine was the first to report that the 23-year-old film star said yes to Hoult’s marriage proposal in December, which reportedly occurred in front of the three-time Academy Award nominee’s family on Christmas Eve. “Nick asked for everyone's attention and began giving a speech to Jennifer. He stood up and took her hand, helping her to stand up as well. When she was on her feet, he knelt down and pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked her to marry him,” a source revealed to the gossip magazine, adding that the “American Hustle” star was thrilled by the proposal. “She immediately started crying. Then she screamed, 'Yes, I'll marry you,’” said the source.

Despite rumors of the “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” star’s upcoming nuptials, the magazine claims that Lawrence is reportedly attempting to keep news of the engagement quiet. “Jennifer likes to live a relatively modest private life,” said the insider, explaining, “She knows news of her engagement will make that harder, if not impossible.”

While Lawrence has yet to announce any engagement or give a glimpse of her rumored ring, outlets are reporting that the rock reportedly cost the 24-year-old “Warm Bodies” actor a pretty penny. According to reports, Lawrence’s engagement ring cost upwards of $250,000.

Following fans' messages of congratulations to the Oscar winner on social media over her recent engagement, GossipCop reported last month that all rumors regarding Lawrence’s nuptials are false. “There is not a word of truth in this story,” reads the report, who claims a source close to Lawrence has confirmed the engagement tale is “completely untrue.”

Lawrence was last spotted out with her famous beau at the 2014 Golden Globes in Los Angeles in January. The duo will be starring opposite each another in the action-fantasy film “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” due in theaters May 23.
