Jennifer Lawrence, best known as Katniss Everdeen from the "Hunger Games," probably made herself no friends by comparing her mother to a better version of Dina Lohan in W magazine interview.

The actress sat down with the magazine for their October issue and related that her mother Karen Lawrence embarrassed her while on the red carpet during a "mom moment," even though she had previously warned her not to mention anything about the "Hunger Games."

"My mom talked about 'Hunger Games' on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, which was something I had told her a million times not to do," said Lawrence. The young actress, who was nominated in 2011 for "Winter's Bone," tried to give an explanation for her mother's excitement: "She's like Dina Lohan! -- but she has good taste."

Lawrence effectively dissed her own mother and Dina Lohan in one sentence. Lohan has been called the "worst mother on the planet," so it's probably matters little if Lawrence's mother has good taste or not.

She was probably just trying to insinuate that her mother was embarrassing like Dina Lohan, and that goes without saying.

Lawrence has gotten several roles since her "Hunger Games" gig, the latest one in "Silver Lining Playbook."

It's a romantic comedy or "dramedy" spiced up with ballroom dancing. Lawrence's character eventually becomes co-star Bradley Cooper's dancing partner.

But just because Lawrence learned archery for "The Hunger Games" doesn't mean she was able to pick up dancing as easily.

"I'm such a bad dancer," she confessed. "I don't have many talents: I'm not a good cook, I can't clean and I can't sew. The only thing I can do well is shoot a bow and arrow -- which I learned to do for 'The Hunger Games' and will probably never come in handy -- and act."
