Jennifer Lawrence topped the list of Forbes' “World’s 18 Highest Paid Actresses” Thursday, with total earnings of $52 million.

The “Hunger Games” star surpassed Scarlett Johansson by $16.5 million, as the “Avengers” actress earned $35.5 million, according to Forbes. Lawrence's 2015 Forbes’ ranking is largely due to her “Katniss Everdeen” role in “The Hunger Games” trilogy as well as several movie projects such as the comedic drama “Joy.” Her earnings were also supplemented by her lucrative endorsement contract with Dior.

The actress even landed an impressive $20 million paycheck for the upcoming sci-fi movie “Passengers,” sources told The Hollywood Reporter in June. The Oscar winner is set to star alongside “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Chris Pratt, who reportedly negotiated a $12 million deal with Sony Pictures for the project. The movie will be directed by Morten Tyldum and is scheduled to start filming in September.

However, Lawrence’s $52 million earnings is still far from the income raked in by highest-paid actors in the world, stated Vogue. “Iron Man” Robert Downey Jr. topped the list for the third time in a row, with earnings of $80 million. Majority of Downey Jr.’s $80 million paycheck reportedly came from his “Avengers: Age of Ultron” movie project, along with the actor’s role in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” film with Chris Evans.

Other actresses who made it to the top five are Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Aniston and Chinese star Bingbing Fan. Funny girl and “Bridesmaids” actress McCarthy nabbed the third spot with $23 million, while Aniston landed at number five with $16.5 million. Meanwhile, Fan is the only non-American actress who made it to the Forbes list with earnings of $21 million. The Asian star is best known in the U.S. for her role in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Lawrence is also ranked 34 in the Forbes Celebrity 100 and seventh in the list of highest-paid women celebrities.
