“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence has a lovable demeanor thanks in party to her klutzy tendencies, like when she fell walking up the stairs to accept her Oscar in 2013, but J.Law told Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” Wednesday that there are plenty of more awkward moments the public hasn’t seen. Some of them include embarrassing interactions with fellow celebrities.

“There’s these two really humiliating stories that are my most embarrassing moments that I never talked about because it’s so genuinely embarrassing,” she said.

For instance, she introduced herself to film director Francis Ford Coppola at a restaurant in Paris. She was nervous to go over to him, but figured she would regret it for the rest of her life if she didn’t. Turns out, Lawrence should have checked her attire first. “I went back to [my] table [and realized] my entire dress was unzipped and my thong was out ... and my whole a-- was out,” J.Law said. The Kentucky native said she probably unzipped the dress earlier in the night to make room for her “gut.”

Another time she thought she was talking to Elizabeth Taylor. “An older woman approached me and was being really nice and complimentary,” she said about an awards afterparty. “In my mind, I was thinking this is Elizabeth Taylor, who was dead at the time. And I didn’t know that.” The star continued: “She’s complimenting me and I’m like, ‘No, you ... You’re unbelievable.’ And then my friend walked by and I grabbed her and was like, ‘This is Elizabeth Taylor,’ and she was like, ‘No, it’s not.’ And I just took off running.”

“Hunger Games” co-star Liam Hemsworth recently revealed his friend is clumsy by nature when "Late Night" host Seth Meyers asked if Lawrence falls on purpose. “Not at all,” the Australian hunk said Wednesday. “She’s terrible at walking.”
