‘World Of Dance’
Will Diana Pombo, 11, make it to the cuts in “World of Dance” Season 1? NBC

“World of Dance” Season 1 is getting fiercer and fiercer, and Jennifer Lopez could not contain her excitement with every new episode.

On her Instagram account, the judge and executive producer of the NBC reality TV competition, shared a GIF of herself standing from her chair upon watching one dancer perform a routine. Even though it is unclear if the clip was taken during Diana Pombo’s performance, Lopez will have a similar reaction to the young Latina dancer.

In the sneak peek released by the network for Tuesday night’s episode, Pombo is pitted against a group of young dancers called The Posse. The 11-year-old Pombo and the all-female group are competing in the junior division, but only one of them will make it through the next round.

Pombo’s clip opens with the Florida native twisting her body and seemingly breaking her bones while dancing to Katy Perry’s hit song, “Rise.” In one of Pombo’s shocking moments, Lopez couldn’t help but push Ne-Yo and Derek Hough’s arms out of her excitement. When Pompo stretches out her leg, Lopez also exclaims, “What?” The crowd also cheers in excitement throughout the young dancer’s whole routine.

When it was The Posse’s turn to dance, they did not receive such strong reactions from Lopez. However, Hough is seen cheering them on. By the looks of it, Pombo will advance to the cuts, and The Posse will go home.

Meanwhile, NBC also dropped another teaser from Tuesday night’s episode, which states that the upcoming installment will be filled with so many surprises. Host Jenna Dewan Tatum also teased a David and Goliath type of duel between tap dancer Kyle Van Newkirk and hip-hop dancers Les Twins. After their performances, Lopez comments, “This just goes to show you, you cannot count anybody out!”

As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Newkirk will win over the Les Twins in terms of scores. During his audition, he only received a score of 80.7 points. Les Twins, on the other hand, received a whopping score of 95.7 points.

“World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
