Marc Anthony performed at the Inauguration's Western Ball and brought his wife, Jennifer Lopez on the stage for a duet that put the rumors of marital rift between the couple to rest.

The ball took place in the largest ballroom of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, where the guests included Angela Bassett and Harold & Kumar and House star Kal Penn, reports The Washington Post.

Anthony pumped out Latin music, telling the crowd repeatedly, You know, it's OK to dance. He then slowed the tempo with his hit You Sang to Me, when Jennifer came on stage to duet with him.

I wrote this song for Jennifer about 10 years ago, he said. It didn't work back then, but eventually ... she got the point.

The couple ended their duet with a kiss.
