Jennifer Lopez is so comfortable being around and working with her ex, Marc Anthony, that she compared their post-split relationship to that of Sonny and Cher -- who famously hosted The Sonny and Cher Show together after they divorced.

Lopez and Anthony, who separated last year after seven years of marriage, are promoting a show they created together. ¡Q'Viva!: The Chosen premieres on Jan. 28 on Univision. The first episode was screened for reporters.

Lopez said her post-split relationship with Anthony was very Sonny and Cher after the divorce, according to a People magazine report.

Really? Anthony replied.

Though Sonny Bono and Cher did work together after they split up, she was ambiguous about their relationship during an interview with Vanity Fair for their December 2010 issue.

I forgive him, I think, she told VF. He hurt me in so many ways, but there was something. He was so much more than a husband -- a terrible husband, but a great mentor, a great teacher. There was a bond between us that could not be broken.

Anthony did hint at his inevitable long-term relationship with the mother of two of his children.

Marriage is one chapter, kids are another, Anthony said during the premiere episode, according to an E! report.

¡Q'Viva!: The Chosen could be a potentially lucrative career move for the New York City-born entertainers. It will follow Lopez, Anthony and music executive Jamie King as they tour Latin America looking for talent.

How the show will fare remains to be seen, but it's nice to see a former superstar couple acting cordial towards one another, at least for the cameras.
