Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband, Marc Anthony, decided to kick off his birthday celebration in Las Vegas by watching his ex-wife’s show.

On his Instagram account, the music producer shared a photo of himself with his group of friends enjoying some drinks at Lopez’s show venue. Lopez’s boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, and his daughter, Natasha, were also present at the event. In fact, the 48-year-old “Ni Tu Ni Yo” singer also shared a video of the father and daughter dancing to one of her songs.

Anthony and Lopez tied the knot in 2004 and got divorced in 2011. In the HBO documentary “Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again,” the singer-actress revealed that ending her marriage to Anthony was very tough.

“I remember being on the set and being in my dressing room and not feeling like I could get up in the morning and there’s just no pain like that. There’s no pain or failure like going through divorce. That hope, that dream, that fairytale, with that first time that dream gets blown to pieces, you feel like you’re going to die. You feel like you failed. You feel like no matter how hard you tried, I couldn’t make it work,” she said.

While speaking with E! News, Lopez also admitted that she hung on to her marriage to Anthony for seven years even though she knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. “When my marriage ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness,” she said.

But years passed and Lopez and Anthony developed an amicable relationship with each other for the sake of their twins, Max and Emme. In fact, the estranged couple could hang out with each other’s partners comfortably. Last year, they even shared a kiss on the lips at the Grammys and sparked speculations that they got back together.

After their split six years ago, Anthony said on “Nightline” that he will always love Lopez. “She know that… my kids know that. Jennifer’s a wonderful, wonderful woman, a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend. This is not a funeral. This is not a burial. This is just two people who came together and just realized… I’m saying that it wasn’t sustainable the way that it was, and that’s that,” he said.
