Jennifer Love Hewitt sure knows how to make a comeback. The actress, whose show Ghost Whisperer was canceled in May 2010 after five years on CBS, is back on television with her new show The Client List on Lifetime.

To celebrate the debut of her new series, Jennifer Love Hewitt stripped down to her underwear for the April cover of Maxim magazine. The 33-year-old actress looks sizzling in black lace undergarments and a dusty beige lace jacket.

This is her fourth time covering Maxim magazine and the actress was flattered when she got the most recent request. Whenever you guys call and say it's time to be on your cover, I'm like, 'OK, I'm in good shape,' she said.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's new Lifetime series, The Client List, is about a mother of three, who becomes a female escort to make ends meet. It is a fictionalized dramatization from the 2004 prostitution scandal in Odessa, Texas.

I've never played a character who is this overtly sexual. It's definitely going to be a departure from the normal stuff I do, she told the magazine.

The actress did reveal details some about her saucier side, notably her scandalous beauty routine. When asked by Maxim if she still vajazzles -- something Hewitt admitted to in March 2010 when she said After a breakup, a friend of mine Swarovski-crystalled my precious lady. It shined like a disco ball, so I have a whole chapter in there on how women should vajazzle their vajayjays - the actress responded yes.

The fun part of being a girl is that there are little beauty things you can do to make yourself feel special, she told Maxim. I can walk around all day and think, Nobody has any idea that I have a sparkly secret in my pants right now. It kind of took off after I wrote about it in my book, and now I have strangers coming up to me all the time like, 'Oh, my God, I'm vajazzaled right now. Want to see?' I'm like, 'No, I don't, but congratulations.'

When asked if she still vajazzles, Hewitt said, I do. I was vajazzled for my Maxim shoot.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Client List premieres on April 8 at 10 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
