Jeremy London Wanted for Alleged Assault of Girlfriend: Report

Actor Jeremy London is wanted by Palm Springs police after receiving a phone call from his girlfriend at 10:30 a.m. Friday allegeding that he assaulted her outside her home.

The Associated Press reported that London's girlfriend, whose name has not been released, called 911 alleging the actor assaulted her following an argument that turned violent. According to Palm Springs Police Sgt. Kyle Stjere, the 39-year old actor's girlfriend claimed they had a spat over custody of the couple's child, which lead to minor injuries.

Police report London's whereabouts are currently unknown. He left the residence following the alleged assault and has not been found since, according to TMZ.

London's lawyer, Catherine Lombardo, told the Associated Press that the allegations were false.

The Party of Five actor has a history of addiction and substance abuse. He was cast in the fourth season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, where VH1 viewers could follow his recovery from Dec. 2010 to Jan. 2011.

London is best known for his roles on 7^th Heaven and I'll Fly Away. He also made headlines in 2010 following a bizarre kidnapping incident where he was allegedly forced to use alcohol and drugs at gun point.
