Jessica Biel Engagement Ring Rejection: Size Does Matter

Despite credible rumors that Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake were engaged at the end of 2011, Biel prompted speculation when she appeared dateless -- and ringless -- at the Golden Globes earlier this month.

So what's the deal? Is the engagement already off?

Nope -- it's just not officially on yet, until Justin gets an enlargement...for the reportedly sub-par diamond he first presented in December during a romantic getaway in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Though Timberlake's grandmother confirmed the couple were engaged, a tabloid is now claiming an official announcement is pending an upgrade.

When Justin proposed to Jessica, she was disappointed with his choice of ring, a source reportedly told the Enquirer (via Celebitchy). Jessica isn't a fancy girl, but she wanted something stunning -- a bigger diamond that would impress her friends. Instead, Justin went more minimal, thinking she'd prefer something less flashy.

Perhaps Justin doesn't know his alleged future wife after all. It's been over a month since the initial proposal -- so what's the holdup?

According to the Enquirer report, Timberlake is taking care to get it right this time.

He was very understanding, and told her that she deserves to have what she wants, the Enquirer source continued. To placate her, Justin has not only enlisted his mom for help with her ring, but he's going to propose all over again.

Really? Just like that? We wonder if Timberlake might be getting a case of pre-emptive cold feet. If Biel is insenstitive and high-maintenance enough to demand an engagement ring upgrade, what else might she have in store for Justin?
