She’s back! Jessica Lange might have hung up her heels of horror after she revealed in March that she wouldn’t be starring in Season 5 of “American Horror Story: Hotel” But according to reports, the 66-year-old artist isn’t quite finished working with the mastermind behind the menacing FX series.

Lange will continue her partnership with “AHS” co-creator Ryan Murphy on a new entertainment platform: Broadway. The two-time Oscar-winning actress will star in the forthcoming production of “Long Day’s Journey into Night,” which will be produced by the “AHS” showrunner. This will be Lange’s third Broadway performance. She previously starred in the 2005 production “The Glass Menagerie” and “A Streetcar Named Desire” in 1992.

The play, written by American playwright Eugene O’Neil in 1941, will begin previews on March 31, 2016, and have its official opening night on April 19 at the American Airlines Theatre in New York.

Lange will reprise the role of Mary Tyrone, a morphine addict who is described as having “striking, Irish facial features.” The actress originally portrayed the character in the 2000 London production of “Long Day’s Journey Into Night,” which she was then nominated for the prestigious Olivier Award. Lange’s castmates in the upcoming play include Gabriel Byrne (“The Usual Suspects”), who will take on the role of her husband and John Gallagher Jr. (“The Newsroom”) as the Tyrone’s son.

Lange previously warned “AHS” fans that she would be embarking on a new journey following her exit from thrilling FX series. During an interview with Huffington Post in October 2013, the beloved actress divulged that after “Freak Show” concluded, she would “hopefully” partake in “a play and then maybe one or two movies” before diving in to a new chapter of her life.

“I feel like maybe then it’s time to starting something brand new in life. Maybe it wouldn’t be that far away, maybe it would be directing a film or something,” she said. “I just don’t want to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Not that I don’t love it because I do. It’s been one of the great passions in my life, but I also feel like I want to try something I’ve never done before…”
