Jessica Simpson is Pregnant, First Child Due Next Spring

Jessica Simpson is reportedly pregnant with her first child as she waits for her wedding in November.

There were speculations of her pregnancy for weeks after Simpson was spotted wearing loose-fitting dresses.

The 31-year old singer, actress and fashion designer attended the 32nd birthday party of her fiancé Eric Johnson, where the news was confirmed after she sent back her glass of champagne for a toast.

She's already having kooky cravings, especially nacho chips dipped in chocolate which satisfy her urge for salty and sweet a source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly.

She's also developed a taste for cheese-flavored popcorn and non-alcoholic margaritas.

According to the source, the baby is due next spring.

Despite the earlier-than-expected arrival of a new baby, Simpson and Johnson have no plan to change their wedding schedule, though Jessica might have to take out her dress a bit.

The couple considers the baby to be the best wedding gift ever, said the source.

I definitely see myself having a family with Eric, so that's exciting to think about, said Simpson, who was once married to Nick Lachey.

Johnson separated from his former wife Keri Johnson in 2009, filing a divorce in 2010.

The couple was engaged in November 2010.
