Jessica Simpson posted her first family picture after the Fourth of July, with fireworks displayed in the background.

Simpson tweeted this message on Thursday along with the picture, Hope everyone had a great 4th!!

The fashion tycoon, 31, was laid back as she donned an oversize, ripped, red sweater with white stars, and somehow the new mommy managed to make it work.

Perhaps it was the presence of her oh-so-cute 3-month-old daughter, Maxwell Drew, who also appeared in the picture.

She matched Mommy Simpson, wearing a white and red onesie. It seems like Maxwell Drew is a pretty chill baby -- she didn't seem to be at all upset by the loud fireworks crackling in the background.

Let's not forget about the patriarch of the family, Jessica's fiance Eric Johnson, 32, who held both of his gals tightly for the photograph.

An insider recently explained to Us Weekly, Eric loves holding Maxwell -- that is, when he can manage to get her away from Jessica.

Another friend of the family added, Everyone is marveling at what a natural Jessica is. She was born to be a mom.

Although baby Maxwell was born in May, this is only the second picture that Simpson has shared of her daughter on the social-networking site.

The whole family got together to pose for People magazine last month and Simpson revealed in the cover story, From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!

Simpson and Johnson had planned on getting married, but when they found out they were expecting, they decided to put the wedding on hold until the baby was born.

We flirted around with different dates before I found out I was pregnant, Simpson explained to Us Weekly this year. I'm so glad we didn't make a deposit!

I really want to enjoy that day, and now I get to have my baby with me, the fashionista added. I can't wait -- it's going to be so sweet.
