Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have been fuelling rumors about their relationship status for quite some time now. The two have been keeping mum about it, but Aiko's latest song appears to be referring to the “I Don't F**k With You” rapper.

Aiko released “New Balance” on Soundcloud, according to MTV News, and on the track, she sings about a new lover. “It hit me like a tidal wave/ Knew that I was in love with you right away,” the crooner sings. “Turned all my days into brighter days/ Even when people say what we do is not OK.”

The release of the song comes a few days after Aiko filed for divorce from producer Dot Da Genius (real name Oladipo Omishore) after 11 months of marriage. The singer cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, according to TMZ, and she did not ask for spousal support.

While Aiko has not addressed the issue formally, the singer has replied to several fans on social media about rumors saying she left her husband for Big Sean.

In response to a fan who alleged she cheated on Dot Da Genius, Aiko said: “Once again, with the internet as ur source... ur point is invalid and inaccurate and ur ignorance grows stronger.”

The “Remember” singer also hinted that it was Dot who split a long time ago. Aiko indirectly said that she was abused by the producer while they were still together.

Rumors about Aiko and Sean started swirling when they released a joint album, titled “Twenty88,” early this year. The two have been vocal on social media about their admiration for each other as artists and individuals. Speculations were fanned when the two shared a kiss on stage at the Power 106 “Powerhouse” concert in June.
