Jill Dillard Announces Pregnancy No. 2 With Baby Bump Video After Months Of Rumors

Jill Dillard appeared to be sporting a baby bump in Duggar family Thanksgiving photos and now the “Counting On” star has confirmed she’s expecting again.

In a video posted to TLC’s site Tuesday, Jill and husband Derick Dillard confirmed they’re anticipating the arrival of baby No. 2 this summer. In the announcement the couple shared they’re both “really excited” to be welcoming a sibling for their 20-month-old son Israel.

“Israel’s going to be a great big brother,” Jill added. “He already loves other little babies. The only thing he’ll have to work on is just learning that babies that are smaller than you you have to be more gentle with.”

Derick added that they’ve already informed Israel he’s going to have a little brother or sister. “He gets it and he’ll be really excited to be a big brother for sure,” Derick said. “We just look forward to growing as a family.”

Jill, who hasn’t made it secret in recent months that she and Derick were trying for another child, sparked rumors she was pregnant in November after photos of her family’s Thanksgiving celebration in Arkansas’ Ozark Mountains surfaced. One image, posted by mom Michelle Duggar, showed Jill sporting what appeared to be a bump while posing with Derick and Israel. Jill was also speculated to be pregnant in September after sharing a telling Instagram post.

Jill and Derick’s new baby will be the second addition to the family in 2017. Jessa and Ben Seewald are also expecting baby No. 2, due in February. “Counting On” returns to TLC in January.
