Jimmy Kimmel has done it again.

After the greatly successful Halloween Candy challenge, where the TV show host and comedian asked viewers to tell their kids they ate all their Halloween candy and record the reactions, he devised another dare.

This time, he asked parents to pull a holiday trick on their children. Kimmel asked parents to tell their kids that they were going to let them open one present a few weeks before Christmas.

But instead of a shiny new toy that they would love, the comedian asked parents to put something the kids would not like in the box.

Again, he asked them to record the reactions and upload it to YouTube under the title Hey, Jimmy Kimmel, I gave my kids a terrible present.

The response was pure hilarity, and a few seconds of devastation for the children. A lot of people did do this, said Kimmel on his late night TV show on ABC, and they did give their kids terrible presents. And a lot of the kids surprisingly reacted poorly to that.

The children's reactions to gifts like an empty juice bottle, an old banana, a battery and an onion were truly priceless.

I don't like this, cried one little boy. What is this? asked an annoyed little girl. You stinking parents! yelled another. Many burst into tears (which were presumably wiped away once the joke was revealed).

The girl who received the old banana handled it startlingly well and actually started eating the bruised fruit.

Take a look at the hysterical reactions.
