Talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel got married to the head co-writer of his show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’ Molly McNearney, on Saturday, three years after they started dating in 2009, Kimmel’s representative confirmed to People magazine.

The wedding took place in Ojai, Calif., and was attended by a host of celebrities, despite the late-night talk show host telling Us Weekly, back in November, that the wedding would strictly be a family affair.

“It'll be mostly a family affair, and there will be a Catholic priest officiating ... I'm not that involved with the wedding planning, but I will be there,” Kimmel, who got engaged to McNearney in August, told Us Weekly at the time.

According to reports, the wedding ceremony was attended by Hollywood celebrities such as Ben Affleck and Matt Damon who came with their wives, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, and Howard Stern.

The ceremony even had Academy Award-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe dressed up as a bride in an attempt to pull a prank on Kimmel. Sidibe arrived at the ceremony wearing a white wedding gown, and had a friend carry her train as she approached Kimmel, who laughed at the prank, the Daily Mail reported.

The couple did not receive any gifts from their celebrity friends, as they wanted guests to make a charitable donation in lieu of wedding gifts, People reported.

This was the late-night talk-show host’s second wedding. Kimmel was earlier married to Gina for 14 years before they called it quits in 2002. They have two children.
