ANZ job advertisements in Australia rose 6% in December following an incline by 5.2% in November to reach the highest in more than two years, giving signs that conditions in the labor market is getting better alongside a stronger economic recovery.

Today's report showed that national vacancies advertised in newspapers and on the Internet averaged 149,063 a week in December. Newspaper advertisements jumped 11.6% to record an average 10,631 a week, while internet advertisements rose 5.6% to an average 138,432 a week.
