John Oliver doesn't approve Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's romance.

While others question the "Suits" actress suitability to join the royal family, Oliver has another concern. He doesn't think that that the most popular family in Britain is good for Markle.

In fact, the comedian said that he won't blame Markle if she pulled out from the royal wedding in the last minute. Oliver also described the royal family as "emotionally-stunted group" when he appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

"I would not blame her if she pulled out of this at the last minute," Oliver said (via Entertainment Weekly). "He's a Brit, he's marrying an American girl. You're British, you married an American woman. I don't think you need to have just seen the pilot episode of 'The Crown' to get a basic sense [that] she might be marrying into a family that could cause her some emotional complications."

Stephen Colbert quips that the current generations of royals are nice. Oliver reluctantly agrees, but not fully.

"They're an emotionally-stunted group of fundamentally flawed people doing a very silly pseudo-job. That's what she's marrying into. So I hope she likes it — it's going to be weird for her," Oliver continued.

If Oliver worries about Markle, Ann Widdecombe has the same concern towards the royal family. The former MP said that she is "dubious" of Markle joining Prince Harry's family because of her past.

"I'm just very dubious that somebody who has made her life in those sorts of films, been married before, comes over and has to become an active member of a very, very stuffy, traditional family," Widdecombe told Piers Morgan and Sussana Reid.

When Widdecombe was still competing in UK's version of "Celebrity Big Brother," she also made headlines for her unwelcome comments about Prince Harry's fiancée. She called Markle a "trouble."

"I think she's trouble," Widdecombe said. "Background, attitude, I worry," she added.

Despite the mixed reactions from the public, Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding is already scheduled. The couple is set to exchange "I Do's" at St. George Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19.
